Empty out the cabinet that requires adjustment. Look for evidence of water damage such as discoloration and standing water.
Soak up any standing water with a sponge. Wipe the cabinet interior dry with a cotton cloth.
Leave the cabinet open to air dry. Set up a box fan in the room if necessary.
Inspect the cabinet's hardware, including hinges, drawer rails and sliders. Remove any debris with a clean cotton cloth.
Place a carpenter's level against the doors and frames of cabinets that need adjustment. Identify and note which pieces of the cabinets aren't level.
Loosen the hinges on non-level cabinet doors using a screwdriver. Position the cabinet door so it is level and tighten the screws.
