Take off all knobs and pulls from laminate doors and cabinets so they won't be tainted with excess paint or damaged by the sanding process.
Unhook the laminate doors from the rest of the cabinets and place them on a workable surface such as a saw horse.
Wash the surface of each laminate door using a quality degreaser. Rinse the doors completely and allow them to dry thoroughly.
Sand the surface of the doors using a medium-grade sand paper. This will prep the surface so the paint will more easily adhere to the doors.
Apply one layer of quality paint primer to each laminate door. Primer ensures good paint coverage and achieves longer durability. Allow the primer to dry completely.
Paint the laminate doors. Use a roller or paint pad in place of a brush that may leave stroke marks. Allow the paint to dry before rehanging the doors.
