Reglazing the Outside of a Bathtub

Old or vintage bathtubs can greatly benefit from reglazing. The inside of the bathtub gets the biggest daily workout, and you may want to hire the services of a reglazing professional. The outside of the tub is a great do-it-yourself project since it involves just sanding and painting. Before reglazing a bathtub that is more than 50 years old, test the surface for lead, which should be professionally removed for health reasons.
