Make sure the water valves are turned all the way on and the faucet handle is turned to the full off position.
Pull the sprayer head out of the faucet and aim it in the sink. Turn the water all the way on and run your finger along the face of the sprayer head to dislodge and remove collected debris. Repeat this step until the face of the sprayer is clean. Do not use a brush to clean the sprayer head; use your fingers, as this is the recommended way to clean the sprayer. If your faucet does not have a pull-out sprayer, skip this step.
Turn the water off completely again. Hold the sprayer in your hand and turn it counterclockwise to unscrew and remove it from the sprayer hose. Take the screen washer out of the sprayer head with your fingers. It is a small round part in the base of the sprayer head. Rinse the screen in water to remove any built-up debris. If your faucet has a spout and not a sprayer, pull the spout out of the base of the faucet, remove the screen and rinse in the same way. Alternatively, unscrew the aerator on the end of the spout by turning it counterclockwise with an aerator tool, rinse and replace.
