How to Install a Multi Mailbox on a Brick Wall

Set the multi mailbox against the wall in the desired location. Balance the carpenter's level on top of the mailbox or just stick it to the mailbox with a magnetic attachment. Adjust the position of the mailbox to reflect the reading of the carpenter's level. Once the mailbox is level, mark the location of the screw holes on the wall behind.

Drill into each marking, using a masonry drill bit that has a visibly smaller diameter than the masonry screws you will be using. Ensure that the hammer setting is switched on the hammer drill and that the drill is set to full power. Press hard into the wall with the hammer drill to drill out each hole to a depth of 3 inches. Replace the masonry drill bit, if the first one wears out.

Reposition the mailbox against its markings. Pass 3-inch galvanized masonry screws through a galvanized washer and insert the screws through the mailbox holes and into the wall. Tighten each screw halfway using the hammer drill on the regular setting. Complete the tightening of all the screws after all have all been installed halfway to make sure that the spacing of the screws is accurate. Tighten the screws until the heads are even with the washers and the washers press into the mailbox.
