Homeowners are attracted to the beauty of granite. The natural coloration and veins add to the dynamic patterns that swirl across the slab. Once the granite is polished and installed, however, you may realize that those beautiful veins make for an uneven surface. While the beauty of the stone is not diminished, those cracks and crevices catch crumbs and dust. Instead of settling for a perfectly smooth and polished but less interesting slab, consider filling the veins with a clear epoxy. Once the epoxy is dry, polish it to a sheen and enjoy your granite surfaces.
