How to Make a Gas Lamp Brighter

During the 19th century, gaslights were typically just the flame with no shield. In present time, gas lamps now come with shades that effectively keep out the wind and rain, making the lamps attractive camping aids. The mantle of your gas lamp, which is made of ash, is responsible for casting the brightness of the flame to create the bright light. When heat from your lamp's flame makes contact with the mantle, it begins to glow brightly. Replace damaged mantles to make your gas lamp burn brighter.
