Installation Instructions for a Grohe 33980000

The Grohe 33980000 series faucets include a modern, arched spout head attached to a single base with a handle. The faucets install in counters and vanity areas using common faucet installation procedures. However, you will find there are few differences between this faucet and others. If you are used to installing appliances and faucets, this project takes about an hour or less.

      Flush out your piping by attaching the supply lines to the water pipes and tightening the connectors. Turn the water on and point the hoses into a bucket. Leave the water on for about 30 seconds.

      Fit the washer into the bottom of the spout and push the spout into the base of the faucet. Slip the large, rubber O ring over the hoses on the bottom of the faucet body. Place the faucet into the countertop mounting hole.

      Slide the brace, seal and washer over the faucet hoses from the underside of your sink top. Attach the nut to the brace and tighten the nut with the wrench that comes with your faucet. Turn the nut clockwise to tighten it.

      Connect the faucet hoses to the supply lines and tighten the connectors by turning them clockwise.

      Place the spray mounting bracket into the sprayer hole in your sink top. Thread the nut for this bracket from below the sink. Tighten the nut by turning it clockwise with a hand wrench.

      Attach the sprayer head to the sprayer hose by turning it clockwise. Thread the hose through the mounting bracket. Attach the end of the sprayer hose to the bottom of the faucet on the swivel connector by turning the connector clockwise with a wrench.
