Get a plumbing diagram of your home so you know exactly where the plumbing tubes rubs. Start by finding the existing fixtures and tubes, which should rise up from the floor. Use the diagram to chart where the tubes run. Contact your home builder, Realtor or architect to obtain a plumbing diagram of your home.
Draw on the floor with chalk to indicate the location of the tubes in the floor. Use the jack hammer to chisel away the concrete over the tubes. Be careful not to cut the tubes; any tube you cut must be replaced.
Chisel away a path to the new location for your tubing. Connect the new tubing to the existing tubing, cutting the tubing with a hack saw and inserting fittings as necessary to route the new installation.
After the tubing is run to the new location, take the tubing apart, add PVC adhesive to the ends and fittings, and put the run back together. Let the adhesive dry for several hours or as the manufacturer recommends.
Mix cement mortar in a 5-gallon bucket or similar container, and trowel it over the new installation with a hand trowel to cover the new tubing.
