  Ask the plumbing company if any of the work they complete is done by subcontractors and what suppliers they receive materials from. Discuss the process the plumbing company uses for finding subcontractors and suppliers.

  Read through the plumbing company's website. The website can give you information like what services the company provides and how long the company has been in business.

  Look for information about specific jobs on the plumbing company's website, such as before and after photographs. If no information can be found on the website, ask the plumbing company to provide it to you.

  Get references from the plumbing company that you can contact. Call or email each reference to get an idea of how satisfied they were with the job the company completed for them. Ask each reference if they would recommend the plumbing company.
