How to Clean an Air Conditioning Sump Pump

The central air conditioner in your home is equipped with an air handler that needs to drain water. This water is typically run through a drainpipe to the outside. However, if there is a sump pump installed in your basement, the drainpipe may be connected to a floor drain. If the sump pump becomes clogged, it may be caused by algae you need to clean.
