Instructions

    • 1

Determine if the Turbo 644 is sufficient for your existing fireplace. Measure the fireplace height, width and depth to see if the Supra will fit into the fireplace opening. The Supra Turbo 600 is 28.34 inches wide, 23.62 inches high and 18.5 inches deep. For larger fireplaces, insert panels are available to cover the open space between the insert and the fireplace wall.

    • 2

Remove logs, grates and screens and use a shop vacuum to completely clean the inside of the fireplace. Designed for heavy-duty use, shop vacuums work efficiently, as they prevent raising dust and ash during cleaning.

    • 3

Center the Turbo 644 frame in the fireplace opening. Use the fireplace opening measurements to roughly center the insert frame and place the insert panel around it, centering it further with the frame in place. Fasten the panel to the frame with a screwdriver and the sheet metal screws provided. If the holes do not line up, a portable drill may be used to drill new sheet metal screw holes.

    • 4

Slide the Turbo 644 insert into the fireplace until it is flush with the frame and insert panel. The turbo 644 has a cast-iron front, so a helper may be required to slide it in properly, without straining yourself.
