Frigidaire furnaces require regular cleaning to prevent the buildup of dust and dirt inside the unit. Without regular cleaning, the burners, blower and even the flame sensor may become covered, reducing the efficiency of the unit. The flame sensor inside your Frigidaire detects when a flame is present inside the unit. If the sensor is dirty, it may not detect the flame when it is on or, even worse, when it is not on, preventing the furnace from firing up.
