How to Reset the Lux Counter

Once you replace the filter in your furnace system, you must reset the counter on your Lux thermostat. The Lux thermostat has a counter to remind you when the furnace filter requires replacement. Replacement filters have different life expectancies such as 30-day, 60-day and 90-day filters. The counter should be reset to 240 hours for every 30 days of filter life. Resetting the Lux counter helps ensure filter replacement in a timely manner.
