How to Convert a Heatilator GCDC8O to Propane

Heatilator is a manufacturer of electric and wood-burning fireplaces for use in a home. They also make gas fireplace inserts. If you have a model GCDC 80 fireplace that uses natural gas you can convert it to propane by switching the fuel source. After your propane tank has been installed by the gas company you need to modify the existing gas supply line to the fireplace. This requires a natural gas to propane conversion kit.
