Pull the Frigidaire Crown series refrigerator away from any wall it is up against so that you may access the rear.
Disconnect the Frigidaire Crown series refrigerator's power cord from the wall and locate the water shut-off valve at the bottom of the fridge's rear. Crank the valve's handle to the left, or counterclockwise, to disable the valve temporarily if it has not already been disabled.
Open the freezer door. Slide the new ice maker into the space vacated by the old. Use a 1/4-inch screwdriver to insert the three to four screws on the ice maker. Depending on the exact ice maker model selected for your specific Crown series fridge, you will either be inserting two screws into the bottom of the assembly and one into the top, or two along the bottom and two along the top.
Connect the Frigidaire Crown series refrigerator's ice maker to the fridge via its harness. The freezer will already have a small harness on its back that is made to connect with the harness on the rear of your new ice maker. Push the clasps from each harness together in order to connect them and finish securing the ice maker.
Turn the water shut-off valve back on by twisting the handle to the right, or clockwise direction. Insert the Crown's power cord into the wall outlet.
