How to Tighten a Hinge on an Omega Cabinet

Omega manufactures cabinets for home bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms, and their cabinetry uses Blum hinges. Blum hinges are European in design, meaning they connect to the inside of the cabinets. If your cabinet doors are crooked, or the hinges are loose, you can open up the cabinet and adjust the hinge easily.

Instructions

  Open your cabinet door so that you have access to the hinge. There will be two screws on each half of the cabinet door hinge.

  Locate the front screw on the half of the hinge that connects to the cabinet frame.

  Loosen the front screw with your screwdriver.
- 4
  Adjust the cabinet door to the desired position and tighten the front screw.
- 5
  Tighten the screw just behind the front screw to secure the cabinet hinge.
