Lay the glass on a clean and dust-free work surface, which receives some sun through an open door or window.
Pour a little acetone on the corner of a clean cloth and wipe the glass to remove any oil from the cutting process. Wipe off any oily finger prints as well and place the sheet of glass on some newspaper.
Carefully dispense a continuous line of clear bonding adhesive over the section of glass where the wire will be attached. The glass bonding adhesive is in a syringe, which allows you to work in an effective and clean manner. Be careful not to get adhesive onto your fingers. You may choose to wear rubber gloves for this step, but doing so is not necessary if you work carefully with the syringe.
Place the wire on the line of bonding adhesive and allow it to sink into the adhesive.
Leave the glass and wire, so that the bonding adhesive can cure, which typically takes a few minutes.
Do not use the glass and wire bond under water, as the clear glass bonding adhesive is not waterproof.
Use a Thermosonic bonding machine for the delicate work involved when bonding gold wiring to glass clips for use in computer circuitry. Thermosonic bonding machines are sophisticated and expensive, and are best operated by professionals with a clear understanding of the processes involved.
