Ensure that the Conservator ice maker's power cord is still in place within the power outlet if the maker has stopped running and producing ice.
Check the water shut-off valve on the appliance if the power cord is in place but the machine is not running. This shut-off valve is on the bottom of the rear of the Conservator ice maker and has a distinctive handle on it. The water supply tube runs down to it. Turn the handle on the valve clockwise to deactivate it and allow water to flow along the supply line once more. Additionally, check the supply line itself to ensure there are no blockages.
Clear away excess ice in the Conservator ice maker if ice production has stopped. If ice gets built up too high within the machine, the maker won't be able to properly dispense and drop ice, and no new ice will be created.
Check the Conservator ice maker's metal bar if the machine's power cord is in place but the maker is still not creating new ice. The orientation of this bar may have become maladjusted. Find the bar on the left side of the maker. It will look like a bar on a wire clothes hanger. Move the bar back into the "down" position if it is stuck in the up position. The Conservator ice maker should begin to make ice again.
