Remove the drawers from the cabinets. Remove any hardware with a screwdriver.
Measure the surfaces of the interior drawer sides that you are going to laminate. Add 1/2 inch to the width of the measurement. Use a pencil to lightly mark out the dimensions onto a piece of self-adhesive laminate.
Lay a straightedge along the pencil marks on the laminate. Run a sharp utility knife along the side of the straightedge, cutting through the piece of laminate. Use the straightedge and the utility knife to cut all of the sides of the laminate.
Place the cut out piece of laminate onto the surface of the drawer, positioning it so that there is extra laminate hanging over each of the edges of the drawer.
Peel away a corner of the protective paper on the back of the laminate. Press the laminate with the adhesive exposed back onto the surface of the cabinet. Once the corner is adhered to the surface of the drawer, slowly pull the rest of the protective paper off of the back of the laminate and press it onto the drawer.
Secure and smooth out the laminate to the surface of the drawer by pressing a block of wood along the edge of the laminate, applying pressure and slowly pulling it along the surface of the drawer.
Remove the excess laminate hanging over the edges of the drawer by pressing a straight edge against the edge and running a sharp utility knife along the laminate that hangs over the edge of the drawer. The straightedge will act as a guide to create a straight cut in the laminate.
