How to Replace the Pull Handle for a Recliner

One pull of your recliner's handle and you should be resting easy, push it back and the chair's secret identity as a napping station is back under wraps. When a recliner pull handle is not functioning, your chair could be stuck in an upright position at all times, or in full recline -- awkward to get in and out of and not the decor aesthetic you had in mind when you bought the chair. A recliner pull handle that is worn or fails to operate efficiently can be replaced. Many recliner manufacturers sell replacement pull handles for their chairs online.
