Create a mixture of one-half tablespoon mild dish soap and 3 cups warm water in a plastic spray bottle. Replace the bottle’s top and shake it to incorporate the mixture thoroughly. Mild soaps contain no dyes or perfumes.
Cover the damaged quartz countertop with the mixture. Wipe it away with a soft cloth, applying slight pressure to remove any difficult stains.
Dry the countertop with a separate soft cloth. Rub the cracked or chipped area with a piece of 220-grit sandpaper. Bend the sandpaper to ensure the areas adjacent to the damage don't become scratched as well. Continue to work the sandpaper gently over the damage until its eliminated.
Wipe away the sanding dust with a soft cloth. Work a mildly-abrasive cleaner into the newly repaired damage with a kitchen sponge. Dampen a separate sponge with plain water and wipe away the abrasive cleaner.
Dry the Cambria quartz countertop with a soft cloth to prevent streaking and water marks.
