Unscrew the garden hose from the inlet valve and unscrew the pressure washer hose from the outlet valve. Place the Karcher pressure washer on its back with the front cover facing you.
Remove the Torx screws securing the front cover of the Karcher pressure washer with a Torx driver. There are two screws at each end and four on each side. Lift the cover away from the pressure washer to access the inlet elbow.
Pry the metal clip on the bottom rear of the water inlet valve with a flat-head screwdriver. The clip is at the rear end of the inlet valve where it connects to the pump housing.
Slide the inlet valve away from the pump and out of the pressure washer. Turn the elbow counterclockwise with your hand to remove it from the valve.
Thread a new inlet elbow onto the end of the inlet valve until it is hand tight. The seal already comes installed on the inside of the new elbow. Slide the inlet valve into place on the side of the pump housing. Push the metal clip up with the flat-head screwdriver to lock the inlet valve into place.
Place the cover back on top of the pressure washer and secure with the Torx screws.
