Open your shower door and peel the existing seal away from the sides of the door and the bottom of the door. If the seal is stuck, use a putty knife to pry it off.
Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol onto the cloth, and wipe the gap inside of the shower door to remove any adhesive left from the removed seal.
Spray bathroom cleaner on the inside of the door's gap, and wipe it up with the cloth to remove any mildew or mold from the door. Rinse and dry the area thoroughly.
Peel the paper from the adhesive side of the new shower seal, and press the seal into the gap in the shower’s door. Start at one end of the door and work toward the other end, pressing the seal firmly into the gap. If the seal doesn’t have adhesive, squeeze a line of caulk into the door’s gap and press the seal into it firmly. Repeat the process on all sides of the door that has a seal.
Wipe any excess caulk from the sides of the shower door.
