How to Repair a Leaking Water Rainbow Fixture in a Jacuzzi

The Water Rainbow is an after-market faucet for Jacuzzi brand hot tubs that directs incoming hot and cold water into a single flat ribbon shape. When the Water Rainbow is installed, holes are drilled in the side of the tub and piping and valves are connected. Correcting a leak in the Rainbow's plumbing involves finding the source of the escaping water and making the necessary repairs.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the water supply to the Jacuzzi and locate the bolts on the underside of the rim. Tighten the bolts holding the Water Rainbow to the edge of the Jacuzzi with a socket wrench if they feel loose.

    • 2

Tighten the bolt connecting the plumbing pipe to the underside of the Water Rainbow if it is the source of the leak. Failing to properly secure this nut could cause water to drip under the faucet.

    • 3

Inspect the elbows and joints in 5/8-inch OD copper pipe connecting the Water Rainbow to the plumbing for pinhole fractures. Fitting a sleeve over the damaged area seals the leak without the need to replace the section of pipe.
