Instructions

    • 1

Shut off the gas to your furnace and let all gas fumes subside for at least 10 minutes before proceeding.

    • 2

Insert a thin wire into the gas line that leads to the pilot to unclog any residual ash.

    • 3

Look for the Honeywell SmartValve switch to make sure it is in the "ON" position.

    • 4

Insert the probe for the voltmeter and touch it to the power connector for the pilot. It should read at least 19.5 volts.

    • 5

Turn the gas on and the pilot should light. If it doesn't, it's probably time to contact a Honeywell technician.
