How to Troubleshoot a Jayco Trailer's Propane Detector

The liquefied petroleum gas (LP), or propane, detector in your Jayco trailer must be operational while the trailer is in use. When the detector is functioning properly, the green LED light will display until dangerous levels of methane or propane gas is detected. When this occurs, the alarm will activate and the red LED will flicker. If this does not happen, propane or methane gas could reach unsafe levels and go unnoticed. Troubleshooting the detector can be simplified with a few easy to follow safety tips.
