How to Insert Floor Vents

Floor vents, or floor registers, add decoration to the floor and prevent small objects from falling into the vents. They come in an array of colors and materials, and some are decorated with engravings or printed patterns. Floor vents fit a number of standard sizes. Once the proper size is determined, installing a floor vent only takes a few minutes and can be completed by even the most novice of home do-it-yourselfers.
