Use the tape measure to figure out the length of your T-strip. Mark the dimensions with your pencil and then cut the strip with the miter box and saw.
Sand the places where you cut the wood with the sandpaper. Put wood glue on the wood floor next to the strip, and put the adhesive appropriate to the other flooring surface on the edge closest to the strip.
Press the T-strip into position with your hands. Then set the cinder blocks on top of the strip until the adhesive dries, allowing eight hours to cure.
