Mix floor stripper in a mop bucket with water at a 50-50 ratio.
Apply the floor stripper with a cotton mop to approximately a 25- to 30-square-foot section of floor at a time.
Work the stripper into the floor using a floor scrubbing machine with a black pad installed. Move the floor scrubber back and forth in front of your body over the area with the stripper applied until you have covered the entire area two to three times. Repeat this process until you have stripped the entire floor. Mop the floor with clean water and the cotton mop. Let the floor dry for at least an hour.
Pour wax onto small sections of the floor in horizontal lines about a foot apart from each other. Use a nylon mop to spread the wax evenly over the floor. Ensure there is no puddling or thick areas of wax. Continue until a layer of wax has been applied to the entire surface of the floor. Let the wax dry for 30 minutes, and apply two more coats using the same procedure.
Polish the floor to a high sheen using a floor scrubber with a burnishing pad installed. Move the floor scrubber back and forth horizontally in front of your body until you have buffed the entire surface of the floor.
