Laminate flooring is available in many different designs, including various stone and wood patterns. It consists of several layers designed to make it a sturdy and long-lasting flooring choice. Like other floor coverings, laminate may develop surface scratches from normal day to day wear. These scratches can be repaired through the use of a special colored pencil that fills in and recolors the marred areas. The pencils can be purchased at most hardware stores and come in a variety of colors to closely match the coloring of most laminate floors.
