Bubbles appear in Pergo flooring when de-laminating occurs. Pergo provides a warranty with all of the company’s laminate flooring range, so you may have cover for a replacement floor if the bubbles come from a manufacturing flaw. If the de-laminating bubbles come from water damage beyond the normal process of cleaning then you are responsible for the repair work. Pergo recommends that a contractor should replace any plank or tile with de-laminated areas larger than 1/4-inch in diameter. If the bubbles are small, you can do the repair yourself using a standard technique and Pergo finishing putty.
