Locate the bolts, supplied with the safe, that are designed to bolt it to the floor. These are typically taped to the safe or may be included with the instruction manual. If there are no bolts, purchase a concrete anchor bolt at a hardware store.
Position the safe on the floor area where you want it installed. Unlock the safe, either by key or combination, and open the door fully. Remove any objects from inside the safe to prevent damage.
Peer into the bottom center of the safe floor to locate a hole for the bolt. Insert a marker into the center of the hole and down to the floor to mark the bolt location.
Move the safe aside and locate the marked spot on the concrete floor. Put on earplugs and safety glasses then insert a masonry drill bit into a hammer drill. The diameter of the bit must match the diameter of the bolt. Place the tip of the bit over the marked spot and drill down to a depth of 3 to 4 inches.
Vacuum out the hole in the concrete to remove any dust and debris.
Place the safe back into the installation location and open the door. Align the hole in the safe with the one in the floor and insert the masonry bolt into the top of the safe's hole. Hit the head of the bolt firmly two or three times with a hammer then tighten the nut at the top two to three turns with a wrench.
