Mildew builds up on the exterior of a motor home because of pollen build-up. The pollen turns green, and if not cleaned, will eventually mold. You can prevent mildew build-up by washing the motor home at least twice a year. Mildew will eventually creep through any openings from the outside to the inside, causing the entire motor home to mildew if you don't take care of it.
