If you have a screened-in patio with screens that have been torn or are sagging, you can replace the screens yourself without having to hire a professional carpenter or experienced handyman. This is not a difficult do-it-yourself project and requires only a few tools. The most challenging part of re-screening a patio is being careful not to damage the new screen by cutting it too short or pulling it too taut, stretching it or causing it to sag.
