How to Replace Expansion Joints

Replacing expansion joints in concrete driveways and patios is necessary to maintain a barrier between the slabs and prevent the concrete from cracking. Wood and fiber expansion joints can wear out and rot over time, breaking down the cushioning between the concrete slabs. Maintaining the expansion joints will keep the concrete slabs from breaking up and help to retain a professional appearance in your walkways.
