How to Clean T1-11

T1-11 is an engineered wood product frequently used as siding. It is durable and inexpensive, and is a common choice for garages and other outbuildings. In spite of its durability, this product must be weatherproofed periodically using stain or paint. A thorough cleaning is required before painting to ensure proper adhesion. A pressure washer is one of the best ways of cleaning T1-11, since its water jet can easily dislodge stubborn paint flakes.

Instructions

    • 1

Scrape the entire surface to be washed. All large flakes of paint or chips of wood should be dislodged before washing commences.

Scrape the surface again so all paint chips are dislodged.
