T1-11 is an engineered wood product frequently used as siding. It is durable and inexpensive, and is a common choice for garages and other outbuildings. In spite of its durability, this product must be weatherproofed periodically using stain or paint. A thorough cleaning is required before painting to ensure proper adhesion. A pressure washer is one of the best ways of cleaning T1-11, since its water jet can easily dislodge stubborn paint flakes.
