Instructions

  1. Measure

    • 1

Use a tape measure to measure the width and height of your opening in order to determine what size Magic Door you require. Make sure that you allow for adequate sideroom for the door's vertical track, headroom for the distance between the top of the door opening and the garage ceiling and backroom, which is required to allow the door to open towards the rear of the garage.

    • 2

Use a screwdriver to attach weatherstripping to the bottom of the door.

    • 3

Screw the cable brackets to the door with your screwdriver. Mount the hinges to the bottom panel of the door with the impact driver. Insert the rollers -- first into the brackets, and then into the tracking.

    • 4

Make sure the track is parallel to the door, then screw it into the wall framing. Make sure the track does not rub the door, then tighten the screws with a wrench. Open the door to check the alignment, then tighten tracking as necessary to make adjustments.
