Used when repairing concrete or when applying or repairing stucco, concrete slurry is a smooth, rather liquid version of regular concrete. It serves to bind or marry the old concrete surface to the new one, resulting in a secure bond between the two surfaces. Commercial slurry mixes are available, but they tend to dry and harden almost before you can use them. Homemade slurry gives you a longer window of time to apply it before it hardens.
