Moisten the concrete about two hours before you want to fill the crack. Keep the concrete moist until you are ready to apply the cement mixture.
Mix Portland cement with water to create a paste similar to the texture of peanut butter.
Spread the cement mixture onto the crack using a putty knife. Completely fill the crack with the cement.
Allow the cement to dry for two hours. Cover the crack with a plastic sheet. Leave the sheet in place for five days. Moisten the repaired area with water once a day until the concrete cures.
Clean the hole and eliminate all loose pieces of concrete and dust. Moisten the area with water until damp.
Mix Portland cement with water until you have a mixture the consistency of paint. Paint this mixture into the hole to help keep the patch in place.
Mix the concrete patch mix with water until it has the consistency of peanut butter. Place this mixture in the hole using a trowel.
Allow the patch to dry using the steps outlined above for cracks.
