How to Weigh Down Scrap Metal

Scrap metal refers to various pieces of metal that have been removed from a structure or appliance. Bits of steel, copper, iron or other metals can be scrap metal. When performing home repairs, this scrap metal can accrue as parts of the home are dismantled and redone. If this scrap metal is being transported in the back of a truck or left outside on a windy day, lighter pieces of metal can be blown away. Weighing down the scrap metal will prevent this.
