Kool Deck is a brand name for a concrete covering commonly used around swimming pool areas. Aside from its aesthetic appeal, the surface stays cool in warm weather, making it comfortable to walk on in bare feet. The manufacturer of the product recommends using Fill-N-Flex to repair cracks in the Kool Deck surface. The Fill-N-Flex kit comes with two cans of product, with one marked A, and the other B. It also includes a squeeze bottle for applying the product and a wooden paint stirrer. Before applying the product, the surface must be clean, damp and 50 degrees Fahrenheit and rising.

     Put on a pair of protective gloves.

     Combine two parts of the solution from Can A and one part of the solution from Can B in the bucket. The kits come in different colors. Choose one that matches your decking.

     Mix thoroughly for at least two minutes. Continue to mix until the color is uniform.

     Pour the mixture into the squeeze bottle from the kit.

     Squirt the solution into the cracks to fill. Add just enough to fill each crack, and work quickly. The product is self leveling.
