Instructions

    • 1

Select a location for the solar panel. The best location is the one that gets the most sun, free from any obstructions, such as trees. In the Northern hemisphere the solar panel should face the equator, true south.

    • 2

Attach a mounting bracket to the surface the solar panel will be connected to. The exact method will depend greatly on the model of mounting bracket selected. Typically, the bracket will be screwed into the surface and then the panel will be mounted on it.

    • 3

Plug a 12 AWG with MC4 Locking Connector into the "G" power outlet port on the solar panel. This cable is available from Sharp.

    • 4

Plug the other end of the cable into the "Panel In - G" port on the control module for the solar panel.

    • 5

Connect other elements; attach the battery (if required,) other panels and connect the control module to the house's breaker. The exact method and process for this will depend on the unique elements and goals of the installation process.
