How to Wire a Remote-Controlled 3-Speed Ceiling Fan With Light

Instructions

      Turn off the power supply to the ceiling fan wiring box. Suspend the ceiling fan from the mounting plate, using the hooks for ceiling mounting or the mounting ball for standard mounting.

      Strip a half inch of insulation off the ends of the supply wires in the wiring box.

      Twist the green wire from the fan and the bare wire from the supply box together. Twist the red wire from the remote receiver marked "AC in L" and the black supply wire together. Twist the white wire from the receiver marked "AC in N" together with the white supply wire. Place wire nuts on the ends of the twisted pairs of wires and tighten the wire nuts securely.

      Twist the white receiver wire marked "To Motor N" and the white wire from the fan together. Twist the black wire marked "To Motor L" together with the black wire from the fan. Twist the blue wire from the receiver with the blue wire from the fan. Place wire nuts on all connections and tighten securely.

      Place the brown antenna wire on top of the receiver and slide the receiver into the space on the mounting bracket. Finish installation according to the manufacturer's instructions.
