How to Apply AC Drives to Phase Converters

AC drives that are used in workshops or for commercial applications are not compatible with single-phase power supplies, as these require three-phase power supplies. Single-phase power supplies are typically found in residential homes. You can wire an AC drive to a single-phase power supply by using a phase converter. This is the easiest way for you to add three-phase power for the AC drive.
