How to Install a Puck Light Transformer

Puck lights are designed to be installed in small or hard-to-reach areas. You might install one of these lights in a display case or in a narrow corner of your home. These individual lights are quick to install but need to be connected to an external transformer to function. These transformers come with the lights and can be set up in minutes.

  Place the lighting transformer near an available outlet as well as the wire running from the Puck light itself.

  Run the wire to the transformer. You may want to tape the wire to the floor or other areas to hide it.

  Plug the lighting wire into the port at the end of the transformer.

  Plug the power cable attached to the other end of the transformer into the available power outlet.
- 5
  Press the "Power" button on the transformer to turn the unit on and off.
