How to Change a Multi-Color LED Spotlight

LED (Light Emitting Diode) light bulbs generally offer longer service and higher energy efficiency than ordinary light bulbs. They are typically more expensive too and you can buy them in different colors, including bulbs that can have their colors changed with a remote control. You can replace a multicolored LED spotlight bulb in the same way that you replace a normal screw-in bulb.

     Ensure that the light switch controlling the multicolored LED bulb is turned off. Allow the bulb about 10 minutes to cool.

     Unscrew the bulb from the light fixture in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the bulb.

     Screw the new bulb into the fixture in a clockwise direction. Turn on the switch to test the installation.
