How to Fit Socket Fittings

Fitting a socket fitting can be done in less than an hour with some common tools. Occasionally, the socket fitting can wear out requiring that you replace the fitting. The socket fitting is attached with screws to the electrical box and uses three electrical wires, such as neutral wire, hot wire and ground wire, to run current through the socket fitting. You can replace the socket fitting yourself with some basic electrical knowledge and save money.
