How to Remove a Dryer Outlet

Dryer outlets are high-powered electrical power sources providing greater amperage to the clothing appliance. These may be three- or four-pronged outlets, depending on their age. When installing a new dryer, you may have to upgrade the existing power outlet. If the old receptacle needs to be replaced, you'll have to remove the dryer outlet first. This is a simple, straightforward task, but you need to be careful when working with electrical outlets.
