Examine the control modules. Make sure no strands of wires are loose; if you see a loose wire, tighten the terminal nut to secure the wire. Each wire must be fully seated on a terminal.
Replace a blown fuse. If the control module stops working, replace the fuse. According to the manufacturer, a 2 amp fuse is required for 50VA transformer and a 3 amp fuse is required for 75VA transformer. If the device has a 100VA transformer, use a 4 amp fuse.
Resolve problems related to an end switch circuit that is affected by overcurrent. Make sure the fuse installed in the end switch does not exceed 2 amps.
Troubleshoot a thermostat that gives erroneous temperature readings. Make sure the thermostat is mounted at least 5 feet above the finished floor. Abnormal drafts can cause false temperature readings. Cover windows that shine direct sunlight on any thermostat, as this may affect temperature readings.
